The 3G portable infrared CCTV video camera is a special CCTV camera for indoor use, which allows both local video recording on a micro SD memory card (not included) and remote video monitoring via 3G mobile video call.
These features make it an ideal video surveillance system for installation in all those environments (for example second homes, mountain huts, warehouses in the countryside, etc.) where installing a classic video surveillance system equipped with remote control function would be either technically impossible or too expensive.
Our portable 3G video camera works with any SIM card (not included) from any cellphone carrier which, in order to make remote video monitoring via 3G video call possible, must serve with UMTS 3G coverage the area in which the video camera is installed: under UMTS 3G cellphone coverage, remote control can take place from any mobile phone or smartphone which is actually capable of making 3G video calls.
Thanks to its infrared illumination system, the camera also allows viewing in conditions of complete darkness, up to 15ft/5 meters away, while a special back-up battery guarantees up to a maximum of 30 minutes of operating time in case of black- out.
