Our safe smartphone for children and minors is a special Android smartphone designed to offer safe use by children and minors.
In addition to an extremely rugged military-standard construction, as well as water (immersion) and rain (IP68) resistance, our safe smartphone for children and minors, features a compact size to fit well in a child's hands as well as a whole series of peculiar features that make it more suitable than normal Android smartphones for use by children and minors:
- - the minor cannot install applications by downloading those from the online Google store: only parents can install the applications they deem appropriate, through a particular installation procedure, thus preventing the minor from coming into contact with unsuitable content or people unrelated to his world;
- - web browsing can be limited;
- - the supplied cameras cannot send photos or videos via the available apps;
- - the available applications are simple and intuitive to use;
- - the keys that control the most frequently used functions (power on, volume, camera, etc.) are all physically available (i.e.: they are not "soft keys") and are quick to use;
- - there is a dedicated button to send out an SOS alarm (requires additional service)
- - there is a dedicated key for programming a user-selectable function
- - there is a special function by which the child can call and communicate with his parents immediately at the push of a button and without having to dial telephone numbers, thus being able to get in touch with his parents without waiting for the dead times of a normal cellphone call ;
- - there is a special high-gain GPS antenna which allows parents to always know the position of their child (requires additional service);
- - standard telephone and SMS messaging functions are always available.
Furthermore, by subscribing to an inexpensive package of services with annual payment, parents can take advantage of a personal location and security system with map tracking, which allows them to always know where their childrens' smartphone is (maximum update rate is one position every 5 minutes), to track it down or block it in case of theft or loss.
The special services also allow to check the surrounding environment of the smartphone at any time by activating a special feature that allows you to listen to the ambient audio and view the video coming from the two cameras of the smartphone, without the child to be able to notice the ongoing monitoring.
In the event of an emergency, the optional service package also includes the possibility of remotely recording all the tracking and audio/video environmental monitoring data.
Thanks to the special technology used, GPS tracking works even if the child is inside buildings, albeit with less precision.
In the event of an emergency, an SOS button is available which, once pressed, triggers an alarm that causes an acoustic signal to sound on the parental control center side (or directly on their device, if they have either the same or a compatible one), in addition to sending the device position, which is immediately displayed on a special cartographic map supplied.
If the parents also have one of our systems, they can view alarms and track positions directly on their own device and also display their reciprocal position to their children: this function is extremely useful and effective to avoid kidnappings or to proceed with a quick recovery of the smartphone in case of loss or theft.
Our safe smartphone for children and minors works with both mobile network up to 4G and WiFi and supports the use of Bluetooth accessories (e.g. headset).
