The Secure Desktop by Spectradome is a voice conversation security system which has been designed to prevent the unauthorized use of voice recording devices during a conversation or meeting.
With a standard, ordinary desktop, the risk of unauthorized voice recordings taking place during a conversation is more than actual, owing to the fact that virtually any person can bring any recording device to the table and record any conversation even if they would not definitely supposed to do so.
For instance, everybody has got a smartphone nowadays and each and every smartphone comes with an embedded and usually very efficient digital voice recorder.
Your counterpart in a meeting may simply turn on their digital voice recorder before entering the meeting and simply lay their smartphone on your desktop to get a crystal-clear recording of your converstation.
